Return Vehicle Request

Please use the form below to request to return your short-term car/van, flexible car or car subscription vehicle. We require at least 5 working days notice to arrange the return of your vehicle and all slots are based on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please Note. Blackout periods are updated on our website using the highlighted link. These are days/dates when it is not possible to arrange the return or return of your short-term car lease with Cocoon Vehicles. These blackout dates form part of your contract.

You can return the car back to the specified de-fleet centre (if applicable) or you can arrange to have your car collected (chargeable – unless a replacement vehicle is being delivered the same day**).

I AGREE that my vehicle will be subject to a "walk-around" inspection and that the vehicle will be subject to a comprehensive assessment at the collection agent's premises. It may also be checked and assessed by the vehicle suppliers again. I agree that the final assessments are what Cocoon Vehicles bases any end of contract charges on and not the appraisal with the customer, as the drivers are not qualified to cost the work involved or spot any poor previous repairs. I also understand that Short-Term Leases and Rental vehicles are not applicable to the BVRLA fair wear and tear guidelines. I understand that the car will not be off-hired until the vehicle is in receipt of Cocoon Vehicles and/or their represenatives and will be chargeable to that point, unless otherwise agreed.

The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as delivery, otherwise we will levy a charge as per the link below. If you are in an Electric Car, the charge capacity must be between 90-100% otherwise a charge and waiting time may be levied. Recent contractual fuel charges can be found here: FUEL CHARGES

Please wait until you receive confirmation from Cocoon Vehicles before making any arrangements, we will confirm the date of the collection/return. We have limited slots available and operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Should the collection fall on a Friday or over the weekend, the car will not be off-hired until the next working day, unless the car is subject to a minimum term contract / fixed contract period. Should you be subject to a minimum term/fixed contract and this has gone over, then you will be charged for the additional days.

** – Collection is chargeable, a price will be provided at the time of confirmation. Collection is payable before the booking is confirmed, unless otherwise agreed.

*** – Our de-fleet centre address will be confirmed to you at the time of return acceptance. We will confirm the date/time of the return appointment.

**** Weekend collection maybe available on request at an additional charge, although the vehicle will not be off hired until the next working day.
